Antelope lake was built during the 1930's as a WPA project and is now managed by the County. Near the lake are a variety of native stone structures also constructed by WPA crews.
The Lake offers fishing and FREE primitive camping. The boat ramp on the West Side is complimented by a floating dock. Plans for further improvements at the lake are underway.
Built in 1963, with recent improvements include: A dock, picnic tables, a resurfaced road and boats without operating gas engines are allowed on the water.
A planned 4.2 Mile Trail with a walking bridge, is in development
The 42-acre Lake is located four miles north of Hill City on U.S. Highway 283,
Graham County is known for its abundance of various game birds, such as Doves, Pheasants, Turkeys, as well as Deer.
Hunters come from far and wide for the excellent hunting in Graham County.
